Chrisssy Brandt was taught by a professional artist since she was 10 years old, and is the founder of Creative Whimsies. She has an Elementary Education degree from Kean University, and has been in the teaching field for 10 years. She has taught Fine Arts at Oakcrest Daycamp for 7 years, and initiated an wildly successful Art Club at Desmares Elementary School.

She has always had a passion for art and it has been an invaluable tool for her own self-expression. She wants to be able to bring that passion to the younger generation through fun projects, in an accepting atmosphere where they feel safe and free to be themselves.
